About

Cape Breton fiddler Kimberley Fraser welcomes Howie MacDonald, Buddy MacDonald, and Aaron Lewis to her Small Hall concert at the Cedars Club. Howie MacDonald is a well-respected fiddler who has composed dozens of tunes and, although best known as a fiddler, he is a superb pianist whether chording for fiddlers or performing piano solos. Buddy MacDonald has been entertaining audiences across Canada and around the world for more than 45 years. The East Coast Music Association (ECMA) Stompin’ Tom Award-winner (2022) hosted the late-night Festival Club at Celtic Colours from 1997-2022 and in 2023 his iconic song, “Getting Dark Again”, was inducted into the Cape Breton Music Industry Hall of Fame. Aaron Lewis is an established vocalist and seasoned musician who plays a variety of instruments. A member of the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame, the singer-songwriter has toured all over the world, including seven years with The Carleton Showband.
