About

Sleep in an oTENTik: part tent, part cabin.

Imagine opening up your front door to the wonders of Cape Breton Highlands National Park. You’ll enjoy all the excitement of camping outdoors, but this time with a soft bed and a cozy roof over your head.

We’ve got you covered with oTENTiks in three beautiful campgrounds: Chéticamp, Ingonish Beach and Broad Cove. Step inside your roomy home and enjoy the beautiful, raised, level flooring. Six foam mattresses are arranged in bunks for cushy comfort. Just lay out your own sleeping bag or bedding. Bring some dishes and tasty BBQ food to cook on your campsite’s open-air grill, or grab yummy takeout from the nearby communities, and have dinner at your site.

  • Campers should bring warm bedding and all other items.
  • Food, drinks, cooking gear and utensils, water container and cooler
  • Slippers or indoor shoes
