About

A Transformational Retreat on Cape Breton Island

We are honored to host the Sacred Celebrant of Avalon Training—a deeply immersive 7-day residential retreat set in the wild beauty of Cape Breton.
Surrounded by forest, ocean air, and wide open skies, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to step away from the noise of everyday life and into meaningful connection—with nature, community, and purpose.
Held in an intimate circle, this experience blends ceremony, personal growth, and professional training, creating space for both inner transformation and practical skill-building.
✨ The Experience at Cabot Shores
At Cabot Shores, your retreat experience extends far beyond the training itself:
🌲 Nature Immersion – Walk forest trails, breathe ocean air, and reconnect with the land
🔥 Evening Gatherings – Fire circles, shared meals, and meaningful conversations
💧 Thermal & Wellness Experiences – Optional access to sauna, hot tubs, and relaxation spaces
🌊 Ocean & Mountain Energy – Located along the world-famous Cabot Trail
This land—known as Unama’ki (Cape Breton Island)—offers a powerful and grounding setting for ceremonial work and personal reflection.
🕊️ About the Retreat
Facilitated by Lilli Vandermeer, Izzy Machado-Williams, and Karen Cassidy, this training invites participants into the art of holding ceremony with authenticity and heart.
