Open Mikey at Governors Pub & Eatery
Sydney & Area
About
Grab your instrument and come on down to Governors for the Openest Mike in Sydney, hosted by local hero Mike LeLievre. LeLievre is a veteran of the Cape Breton music scene, having played in the bars since he was 13 years old and still going strong on bigger stages in farther places decades later. Perhaps best known as Slowcoaster’s bassist, Mike also performs and records with Hauler, has released a solo album, and is a virtuoso known to play guitar, bass, mandolin, slide and pretty much anything else that makes sound. He writes songs and plays tunes for one-nighters, all-weekers, goodtimes bedtimes, ballrooms and barrooms.
