About

Joyful Journeys is located only minutes off the scenic Cabot Trail at Jersey Cove on beautiful Cape Breton Island. Come and enjoy our campground and RV park, where you can walk the beach and let the kids search for shells and rocks of all shapes and colours. In the evening, sit and marvel at the beautiful sunsets as you listen to the ocean waves splashing on the shore.

There are a lot of interesting things to do nearby, such as river kayaking, boat tours, nature walks, golfing, ocean fishing, and swimming. Other nearby attractions include the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site and the Gaelic College.

Our campground features 20 overnight sites with electrical (up to 30 amps), water and sewage hook-up (two and three way hook ups available), some unserviced, plus 58 seasonal sites, two rental trailers, pull-through/easy access sites and oceanfront RV sites. We offer open and wooded campgrounds on the ocean. There are two tenting areas, one wooded and one ocean.

Amenities include washrooms with flush toilets, showers ($1), laundry facilities, store, ice, wood, tenting shelter and telephone. Activities include a recreation hall, games, playground, library, darts, and planned activities. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash.

Englishtown Ferry is free for 2020, large vehicles should take Exit 11.

Cash only.

Cancellation policy: Must cancel 24 hours prior to the day of arrival.
