About

Wild & Luxurious! We are an eco-friendly family run business operating mostly off grid, but we take the comfort and leisure of our guests very seriously! Its a park and hike in space with full service and self service amenities. While we pay close attention to the environment around us. We have put a lot of thought into the details. The property overlooks the beautiful and historical St. Ann’s Bay that winds in around the Cape Breton Highland’s mountain range. Our year-round, eco-friendly property is in the heart of Cape Breton Island, just minutes to the world-renowned Cabot Trail. Each of our 5 year round cabins and 3 Lotus Bell Glamping tents (open spring to late fall) offers cozy comfort and convenient access to our fully equipped Cookhouse, our indoor group gathering space The Hive (which is our 26 foot geometric dome) along with a two hour free session in the Hothouse (which is our woodfired cedar sauna). We have a beautiful trail to our namesake: Sally’s Brook.

We are open year-round and offer free snowshoes in the winter to make sure our guests still get out on the trails and soak up some nature. Even if you are not a guest, you can still book in for a luxurious experience relaxing and rejuvenating in our steamy wood-fired sauna. We will take care of heating it up and keeping it running during your session, and towels and a rinse in our showers is included. We can also offer a more deluxe experience that includes robes, towels, fresh fruit and refreshing drinks, sandals, and a shower. Because we strategically laid out the property we can also accommodate weddings, birthdays, family reunions or group bookings. At Sally’s Brook we strive to embrace and protect the natural environment while surrounding our guests with comfort and the opportunity to unplug and recharge. Rest and relaxation comes easy at Sally’s Brook!
