Get ready, Cape Breton — the Cape Breton Island Pro Rodeo is charging into Centre 200 from September 24-27, 2026 with an electrifying fusion of world-class sport, live entertainment, and East Coast celebration unlike anything the “Big Island” has ever seen. Elite rodeo athletes from across North America will compete in fan‑favourite events including bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, and more. The festival atmosphere will extend throughout Centre 200 with live concert performances, interactive fan experiences, western‑themed vendors, food and beverage offerings, and activities for all ages. The entertainment lineup for the weekend includes performances by Sam Roberts, Adam Baldwin, Mary Frances (of the MacMaster & Leahy Family), High Valley, Doc Walker, and Alan Doyle.
