About
The beautiful Bras d’Or Lakes, Canada’s largest inland sea, is the setting for the Trailsman Motel. Situated in the Baddeck area, our central location makes it ideal for visitors who plan to explore the beauty and attractions of Cape Breton Island. We are only minutes away from many recreational activities, including golfing, walking and hiking trails, lake and river fishing, boat tours and sailing cruises.
Our spacious grounds and gardens of the motel lead to the water’s edge, where you frequently find Canadian geese with their young or a bald eagle flying overhead. Enjoy a swim in our outdoor pool, or relax and smell the flowers in a lounge chair with a spectacular view. Nearby attractions include the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site and Kidston Island Beach.
Our accommodations include 55 air-conditioned, non-smoking units with single, twin or queen beds, two of which are housekeeping units. All come with a 4-piece bath, cable television, telephone, and high-speed and wireless Internet access. A complimentary continental breakfast is served and laundry facilities are provided. Outdoor activities include an outdoor pool, picnic tables, and bird watching.
Visa, MasterCard and Debit are accepted.
