Storyteller’s Gallery and Siudiac Air An Urlar Historical Society is located the picturesque seaside village of Judique on the western or “Musical Coast” coast of Cape Breton Island. Located in a delightfully restored heritage designated house, the gallery houses an extensive collection of photos, books and historical items representing the various Scottish, and French settlers as well as the original Mi’kmaq inhabitants of the surrounding lands.
Research your family tree, enjoy a lively ceilidh with fiddle music or savour a cup of tea while learning a bit of Gaelic. Stop into the neighbouring Celtic Music Interpretive Centre or stroll the beautiful Ceilidh Coastal Trail located just adjacent to the gallery. Check the facebook page @StorytellersGalleryJudique for complete listings of hours and workshop/event offerings year-round.
