About
Atlantic Memorial Park is a project founded by the AMP society in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton. The goal of the AMP society through the restoration of our monuments on site is to create a seaside journey of remembrance that brings Canada’s military history home. With the recent restoration of our Chapel Point Battery, we welcome the public to join us in celebrating the completion of phase 1A of our operation planned for the oncoming years. Our park is complete with guided tours (included in admission fee), a gift shop and various historical artifacts throughout our grounds. Accessibility measures have been taken to ensure that our site is welcoming to all visitors—through our provided phone number, we are able to assist any requests for your time of visit.
Hours of operation are as follows:
Tuesday-Saturday: 9:30am-5:00pm
Sunday & Monday: Closed

Family rate – $23
If you require assistance walking from the parking lot please call to request a crew member to drive down to our parking area using our golf cart and bring visitors up our path.
