Dorchester Street, North Sydney
The biggest parade on Cape Breton Island is BACK! We think this deserves some celebration, don’t you agree? Come OUT and show your PRIDE. Everybody should be proud to be themselves; no matter sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, race, age, ability, or beliefs spread love and show the world that you are #PROUDTOBE YOU! The Parade route starts again this year on Dorchester Street in Sydney, then along the Esplanade, onto Townsend Street, along George Street, and will finish down Ferry Street leading into the Pride Party in the Park at Open Hearth Park. PARTY IN THE PARK is also baaaack! Meet us in Open Hearth Park immediately following the end of the Pride Parade for a fun-filled afternoon of games, vendors, and some daytime drag performances! Stroll through the Rainbow Market where you’ll find a variety of local vendors and creators with products for purchase. Note: event start time and performances are dependent on the length of the Parade.
