A Waterfall Season Finale You Won’t Want to Miss

Join us on Saturday, June 13 for a truly unforgettable experience as we close out Cape Breton Island’s Waterfall Season with a one-of-a-kind concert at the breathtaking Lower North River Falls.
The afternoon begins at the trailhead, where acclaimed piper Cameron MacNeil will set the tone with stirring tunes before leading participants on a short, scenic 1 km hike to one of Cape Breton Island’s most spectacular waterfalls.
Nestled beneath the falls, award-winning musicians Rachel Davis and Darren MacMullen will perform an intimate concert in a natural setting unlike any other. Surrounded by towering cliffs, rushing water, and the beauty of the North River wilderness, this promises to be a musical experience you’ll never forget.
This special event also serves as a celebration of KitchenFest!, Cape Breton Island’s next island-wide festival, showcasing the rich musical traditions that make our island so unique.
Pack your hiking shoes, bring a sense of adventure, and join us for an extraordinary afternoon where nature and music come together in perfect harmony.
