The Back Pack is a band that utilizes live-looping of real and synthesized instruments to build smooth and funky music. The Sydney-based group started out as a duo with Vik Dugandzic on guitar, keys, and vocals and Jeff Shaw on alto sax and vocals, but has more recently expanded to include Steve Luxton and Ed Woodsworth. Steve and Ed are both versatile musicians and multi-instrumentalists comfortable in a range of musical settings with a shared background in Jazz. The group has been playing bars and festivals across Cape Breton. They are currently working on their first single.
