Mabou & Area

About

The "snug" originated in Irish pubs in the 19th century. A small, private seating area located near the bar or behind a partition, the snug is frequented by groups of friends or patrons who prefer a more intimate setting. The Snug Pub, at the Mabou Parish Hall, offers a cozy gathering place for live music on Friday nights. Beer, wine, coolers, non-alcoholic and soft drinks are available at the cash only bar along with a limited food menu from Beinn Mhàbu. The Snug Pub is brought to you by the Mabou and District Community Development Association.
