MEN OF THE DEEPS 60TH ANNIVERSARY GALA CELEBRATION In 1966, a newly formed coal miners’ chorus stepped onto the stage at the Savoy Theatre for the very first time. Sixty years later…to the day… the Men of the Deeps return to that same stage to mark a milestone as one of Canada’s most iconic cultural groups. On Sunday, November 1 at 7 PM, the 60th Anniversary Gala, Diamond Sunset brings a one-night-only celebration to the Savoy Theatre. The evening will feature a standout lineup of tribute performances by celebrated artists, alongside appearances by the Men themselves, all hosted by Cape Breton royalty. Expect a powerful night of music, storytelling, and a few surprises, with moments reserved exclusively for those in the room.
