Based on a true story. In 1970s Germany, up-and-coming promoter Vera Brandes uses her youthful, rebellious and energetic spirit to organize a concert for jazz pianist Keith Jarrett at the Cologne Opera. The recording of this concert went on to be the best-selling solo album in jazz history.
