Originally from Inverness and now based in Port Hawkesbury, Stephen Poirier is a Cape Breton singer-songwriter and guitarist with a warm, easygoing performance style. His music draws from folk, country and classic rock, combining familiar favourites with original songs shaped by his Cape Breton roots. Stephen is a familiar performer around the island and has become a returning artist on the Red Shoe stage.
