About

Roots to Boots is a four-day celebration of Acadian, and other local cultures in the heart of Chéticamp on the world-famous Cabot Trail. From June 11–14, the festival brings together live music, storytelling, cultural experiences, outdoor adventure, and authentic local flavours. Set against the stunning backdrop of Cape Breton Highlands, Roots to Boots invites visitors to connect — with the land, with traditions, and with each other. It’s a place where cultures meet, community spirit thrives, and every note and every step tells a story.
