Looking for a family-fun activity to end the season with a bang? Parka’s Great Sleepover might be just the thing for you!
On August 29, 2026 you are invited to spend the night at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site for an evening of family-friendly games presented by Parks Canada and the Fortress Louisbourg Association.
Roast marshmallows over a campfire and star gaze at the site of the first observatory in Canada! The evening begins at 5:30p.m. when you will be checked-in to your campsite (complete with tents, lanterns and floor mats!). Enjoy an unforgettable family camping trip in a truly unique location!
