About

"Make our home, your ocean playground".

North of Smokey Windsurfing offers windsurfing and other water sport rentals between Ingonish beach and Dingwall N.S.

We offer a variety of packages, from hourly rentals offered at White Point Wharf, as well as half-day and daily packages that can be delivered to specific areas between Ingonish and Dingwall.

Our equipment is suitable for most ages from teen and up as well as for those with limited experience in windsurfing. Our 225 Bic Beach boards offer the most stability while on the water whether it be a slow sail along the coast to take in the scenery or catching some nice waves.

For anyone who has brought their own SUP on their vacation or just isn’t into windsurfing, we also have the Crosswing X2 for rental so you can enjoy all the wind has to offer without the needed knowledge for windsurfing. Within minutes of obtaining a Crosswing X2 anyone can be propelled by the wind, across the water to enjoy the best Nova Scotia has to offer.

Packages are priced per person and include all you need to windsurf "No harness included", Liability waiver must be signed before exchange of equipment for rental. In order to rent a windsurfer half day or daily you must have some experience with windsurfing. If you have no experience, windsurfing rentals can be made at a safe learning location i.e. White Point Wharf.

If available, lessons can be given for an additional fee. Life jackets will be provided and are highly recommended.

Hourly rentals take place at White Point Wharf.

All other daily rentals or half-day rentals can be delivered to specific locations if needed.
