Martin Aucoin was born and raised in Chéticamp. He left at a young age to pursue a career in music. He lived in Nashville and Ontario. He has toured the world playing his piano. He performed solo shows and toured/played with many artists such as BJ Thomas. He has played on recording sessions for artists such as George Strait and Garth Brooks. Martin also had the privilege to play the Grand Ole Opry many times with different artists. His repertoire is as big the phonebook! This piano man knows a lot of material and will no doubt have you enjoying your Friday evening at the Doryman! Martin also plays keyboards and sings with the Doryman house band, Risin’ Tide – make sure to check them out if you are around on a Saturday night.
