About

Hinterglas Art Studio & Gallery is home to fine artist Bonnie Bews. Here she showcases her work in the art form of Hinterglas, a technique that allows the application of Watercolour and Charcoal to the reverse side of glass (developed by Rudolf Schmid / Germany). Bonnie seeks her inspiration from Cape Breton’s wildlife and natural surroundings. Her paintings are energized not only with ideas but also by the way she applies her medium to the glass. While visiting her studio / gallery you’ll be able to see her creating new pieces on glass. Original artwork is available to purchase as well as greeting cards, prints, canvas prints and illustrated Children’s books.
