Welcome to The Dancing Moose Vacation Rentals, located in the Cape Breton Highlands of Nova Scotia halfway between the entrance of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park in Ingonish and Englishtown, near Baddeck.
The Sleeping Moose Cottage is a two bedroom housekeeping cottage with a 3 piece bathroom, full kitchen, living room and dining area. With views of the Atlantic Ocean from the cottage, start your day off while enjoying a tea or coffee overlooking the ocean when you follow the garden path to a picnic table with a spectacular view!
The Sleeping Moose Cottage is pet-friendly.
Zzzz Moose Camping Cabins
Each of our four insulated camping cabins overlook the ocean, making the shaded front decks with their own picnic table the perfect place to stay, end and/or spend your entire day on. These unique cozy cabins are equipped heat and electricity and come with comfy beds (linens can be provided for an additional fee) and bedside lamps as well as access to a shared personal bathroom building just a few steps away. You’ll have access to Wifi and the communal fire pit as well as to our trails that bring you to our rocky beach.
The camping cabins are pet-friendly.
The Birch Plain Tower
The Tower is the newest accommodation rental on the property and is a 240 sq ft, two-story loft apartment with its own bathroom, custom pantry and kitchen space. Located above the Comfort Station that serves the Zzzz Moose Camping Cabins, guests staying in the Birch Plain Tower have a separate entrance that leads to a spacious deck overlooking the property and the Atlantic Ocean. The loft has a double bed along with two skylights above it, making it the perfect spot for stargazing!
Sorry, no pets permitted in the Tower.
Please note: The Dancing Moose Café, located on the same property, is closed to the general public in 2025 but serves (optional; for an additional fee) breakfast for the guests that stay on the property. Breakfast, a la carte, is available between 7:30 – 10am, daily.
