GENEROSITEA: A TRIBUTE IN EVERY CUP
Port Hood
About
Celebrate the generous spirit of OB Smith with the unveiling of a heartfelt new tea blend, GenerosiTEA, created by Tea Artist Michelle Greenwell of the Cape Breton Tea Company. Raised on Port Hood Island and later owner of the Morris’ Tea Company, OB Smith’s legacy of philanthropy and community care has left a lasting imprint across Inverness County.
Hosted in partnership with the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design’s Craft Week, this special gathering at the Chestico Museum invites you to experience tea as both art and story. Through guided herbal explorations, curated tastings, thoughtful pairings, and shared memories, we honour a life rooted in generosity and connection.
Discover the inspiration behind the blend, enjoy visual storytelling through photos, and immerse yourself in a sensory journey that reflects the essence of place, people, and purpose. This is more than a tea launch—it is a celebration of legacy, community, and the enduring power of giving.
