About

The Dunlop Inn is an elegant accommodation on the waterfront, with a private sandy beach and waterside deck, located in the village of Baddeck on Cape Breton Island.  Guests can relax in our spacious living room with a good book or an evening cocktail.  Our beautiful sunroom and deck provides a wonderful panoramic view of the harbour and lighthouse and is a favourite spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or afternoon. Baddeck is a paradise for sailors, paddlers and shoppers seeking fine arts and crafts.  We are centrally located in the village and within walking distance to Alexander Graham Bell Museum, Bell Bay Golf Course, sailing, swimming, kayaking, shopping and dining. Spend the day exploring the natural beauty of Cape Breton by taking a drive along the Cabot Trail, a world famous scenic drive or visit Fortress of Louisbourg only an hour away.   We have 5 beautifully decorated air-conditioned rooms (Single, Double, Queen): with ensuite and private 3-piece baths (shower), common areas and wireless Internet. A continental breakfast is included. We are a proud member of the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia and Baddeck Area Business & Tourism Association.  Visa, MasterCard and cash are kindly accepted.
