Join Parks Canada staff for a guided hike on the Aspy Trail, one of the park’s most scenic backcountry routes. This 9.6 km return trail follows a steady climb through hardwood and mixed forests before reaching view points overlooking the Aspy Fault escarpment. Along the way, discover waterfalls, autumn colours, and stories of the natural and cultural history of northern Cape Breton. This hike is rated moderate to difficult and is best suited for participants comfortable walking on uneven terrain and moderate inclines.
