About

An evening of songs born of both Ireland and Cape Breton, care of The Tom Fun Orchestra & Bethany June.

The recipient of multiple Music Nova Scotia and East Coast Music Awards, The Tom Fun Orchestra are described as Cape Breton’s ambassadors to flamethrowers, Ferrari Testarossas, moray eels and brown acid. With its reputation preceding, the musical funambulists spent years touring the world on the merit of two critically acclaimed albums and a wildly energetic live show. Their songs come from subterranean caverns, deep underfoot; they twinkle with nostalgia, are born of magma and coal-fire and sprout from the ground like geysers, all steamy and weird.
Bethany June is a folk singer songwriter from Ontario. She found her love for playing music while busking in Ireland; telling stories and pulling on heart strings through song. You can find her music on all music streaming platforms and catch her playing live around Cape Breton at various locations. You can follow her @bethanyjunemusic on Instagram or Facebook to keep up to date with her upcoming shows and events.
