"Buth-obrach Orain Ghaidhlig" are three Gaelic Song Workshops being held on Saturdays in May, 2026 for Gaelic Awareness Month at St. Barra Church & Christmas Island Communities Centre at 47 Church Road, Christmas Island, NS. May 2nd: Hannah Krebs teaches local Gaelic Songs from 2-4pm. May 16th: Connall MacKinnon teaches some more local Gaelic Songs from 2-4pm. May 30th: Angus MacLeod teaches the old way of composing Gaelic Songs from 2-4pm. Coffee, tea & sweets will be served! Admission by Donation! Sponsored by: The Wardens of the Church of St. Barra Preservation and Development Society. Supported by: The Nova Scotia Office of Gaelic Affairs.
