Balmor Landing
About
Balmor Landing provides a charming Cape Breton experience, staying in a 150 year old Nova Scotian homestead property. Tucked away on 4 rambling acres of private, landscaped gardens, complete with apple, cherry and plum orchards, goldfish pond, large front & rear wooden decks, fire pits, and 100 feet of private rugged coastline overlooking a calm ocean inlet, It’s the perfect spot for kayaks, canoes and other water sports.
Enjoy spectacular views over the water from the house, rustic beach and large front deck. The gardens offer a tranquil escape to explore, enjoyed from the large rear terrace, take a stroll through many fruit trees, discover the ponds or simply find a spot to picnic and lose yourself with a good book.
A wonderful spot to hide away, however perfectly located 5 mins from the 125 highway as a base for your Cape Breton adventure.
The house offers two large reception rooms off a striking main hall, a large kitchen, two bathrooms (one with shower and one with claw foot roll-topped bath).
Accommodation is accessed via the main staircase (or the butler’s/pantry stairs from the kitchen) and consists of four bedrooms (1 large king room with dual aspect water and garden views, two double rooms: one with water view and one with garden view and a twin room with garden view).
