Meet MR. Duo
M = Marcel Lefort
R = Roger Boudreau
Duo = There are two of them!
Marcel and Roger started playing music together in Sydney in early 2020, and they’ve been sharing their love of music ever since.
Along with French and East Coast favourites, MR. Duo serves up “Timeless Hits” spanning Rock & Roll, country rock, oldies, and everything in between. You might hear favourites made famous by The Beatles, The Eagles, CCR, The Turtles, The Hollies, Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks, Elvis, Jay and the Americans, Pepper Tree, Every Mother’s Son, and more.
So bring your friends, bring your Acadian pride, and come take a musical walk down memory lane with MR. Duo!
And yes… there’s Fricot!
Starting Tuesday, August 25, MR. Duo will be at Daniel’s every Tuesday throughout September and October.
And to make Tuesdays even better, Daniel’s will have Fricot on the menu!
What’s Fricot?
Fricot is a traditional Acadian comfort food—a hearty, home-style stew most commonly made with chicken, potatoes, onions, and savoury herbs, often served with dumplings. Warm, simple, and delicious, it’s a longtime favourite in Acadian kitchens and the perfect addition to an evening celebrating Acadian culture.
Great music. Great company. Great food. A little taste of Acadie.
Come celebrate with us!
