About

The annual Sparkle Ball is sort of a mini music festival to celebrate winter, friends, food, and community. So wax your skis, dust off the dancing shoes and get ready for an action-packed day with a stacked line up of music! The day starts off with skiing, snow shoeing, and sledding at the farm. Come by any time after lunch with music starting about 2:30pm with Gaelic, Celtic and beats by Bradley Murphy, followed by the amazing vocals and songs of Catherine Kennedy, and a solo set country, old time and original songs by Willie Stratton. The afternoon closes out with Margaree’s own Julia Kater, Franzi Habith (and a few friends) playing some old and instant classics.

Julia and Taylor from Fish Out of Water will be slinging some food and ya might grab yo self a bottle of Margaree Cider as well. After all that it’s time to head down to the Margaree Forks Fire Hall for some dancing and free pool with Mary Beth Carty, Zakary Miller & the Yodelayee Few, and winter Swamp Rockers Lookout Tower. This is expected to sell out so get tickets in advance.
