The seven spots below capture the Island's culinary spirit this season, from refined tasting menus to cozy, community-rooted kitchens.

1. Woodroad Restaurant

Woodroad sits right on the Gulf of St. Lawrence in a timber-frame dining room that feels made for fall, the kind of place where a glass of red and a sunset view do most of the work.
