About

Overlooking beautiful St. Ann’s Bay, discover Sally’s Brook Wilderness Cabins. Our year-round, eco-friendly property is in the heart of Cape Breton Island, alongside the world-renowned Cabot Trail.
Each of our four off-grid cabins and two Starview tents offers cozy comfort and convenient access to our sparkling clean shared wash house with large shower rooms and towel warmers and fully equipped cook house. Prepare your own meals with your choice of propane or a woodfired cook stove or ask us about our personal chef and private cooking class experiences!
We’ve thoughtfully designed every aspect of Sally’s Brook with luxury amenities and a low carbon footprint in mind. From solar electricity to high-efficiency wood burning stoves, organic cotton linens, and natural low VOC finishes, we strive to embrace and protect the natural environment while surrounding our guests with comfort and the opportunity to unplug and recharge. But, if you need to keep in touch we have reliable cell service and a signal booster located in the Cook House.
Sally’s Brook Wilderness Cabin’s is ideally located to enjoy the best of all four season in Cape Breton. On site, explore walking trails, relax in our wood-fired barrel sauna, and star gaze beside crackling bonfires or choose unique day trip adventures to Destination Cape Smokey, North River Kayak Tours, Cabot Cape Breton, Cape Breton Highlands National Park, and the village of Baddeck – just to name a few!
