About
We’re home, and have cozy, clean and comfortable rooms available in our century old farmhouse. Situated on one hundred acres of fields, forests and gardens, you can hear and smell the Atlantic ocean, just 1000 metres away.
Our working farm property and home are a labour of love, with vintage fixtures, bare plywood floors, and ongoing repairs and upkeep. While not exactly magazine ready, what we lack in polish, we make up for in hospitality! Be our guest and make yourself at home at From Away Farm.
Our friendly dogs join us in welcoming you.
We’re located on Isle Madame in Cape Breton, a peaceful island with a vibrant Acadian heritage, active fishery and beautiful beach parks.
