Chez Edmond Vacation Home
Chéticamp & Area
About
Chez Edmond is a century-old farmhouse located in Grand Etang, an Acadian comunity of St. Joseph du Moine at the base of the Cape Breton Highlands. It is 15 minutes from Cheticamp. Built in the late 1800s, it was completely renovated in 2003. This farmhouse has all the modern amenities, but it also offers some historical charm to give visitors the feeling of what life was like for a large family on a small family farm in rural Cape Breton.
The house is located 1/2 kilometer off the world famous Cabot Trail and it overlooks a picturesque valley that boasts plenty of green space. Visitors can see the cows grazing in the field behind the house or take a short walk to the shore and observe magnificent sunsets.
