The Accommodation
Seaweed and Sod Farm operates a traditional Bed and Breakfast nestled away from the hustle and bustle in Kempt Head, Nova Scotia, a rural community rich in heart and hospitality. Overlooking the beautiful Bras d’Or Lake, we are located about halfway between the Cabot Trail and the Fortress of Louisbourg. Our off-the-beaten path farm is the perfect place to relax, delight in the sunset, and recharge for your next day of exploring Cape Breton Island.

Farmstead Room

Gammell Suite
Booking the Gammell Suite comprised of both the Sunset and Farmstead room and gives you exclusive access to the Bed and Breakfast.
Suitable for: Friends travelling together, two Couples travelling together, Small Families
Maximum Capacity – 5* people and one babe-in-arms
*twin-sized air mattress available for 5th person
The exclusive main floor B&B private area includes the sitting/dining area, TV, and screened-in porch including a private entrance.
