This August, join us in Cape Breton Highlands National Park for a special festival in celebration of incredible Atlantic Salmon. This three-day festival highlights the conservation and restoration work that is currently taking place throughout Parks Canada administered places in Atlantic Canada, and is focused on the Clyburn River and surrounding region.
Mi’kmaw storytellers and knowledge keepers set the stage on Friday, followed by a full day of interactive programming, science, theatre, art, and film on Saturday. Participate in the family-friendly “Salmon Run” fun-run on Sunday, and trail race along the Clyburn valley on a path that parallels the true annual Atlantic salmon run up the Clyburn River.
For full festival details, visit our website.
