Raspberry Cottage is a four-bedroom, 2,000-square-foot cottage located in the heart of Cape Breton Island, convenient to sightseeing in all directions. The cottage is located on a UNESCO biosphere reserve and has a water view of the Bras d’Or Lake, an inland sea connected to the Atlantic Ocean. Raspberry Cottage provides an authentic country cottage experience on 150 wooded acres, with a newly renovated interior, library, free berry and orchard picking, and a hiking path throughout the acreage. Wi-fi, TV, coffee beans, tea, charcoal and propane grills, and logs for an outdoor fire circle are all included. Proximity to the Cabot Trail, golf, world-class fishing, the Gaelic College, and the ferry to Newfoundland.
Another cottage, Explorer’s Cottage, is just across the street but the two cottages are not visible to each other. Explorer’s Cottage is 4,000 square feet, has four bedrooms, and is on the Bras d’Or Lake, with a private beach and botanical park setting.
