About

At Pilot Whale Chalets we offer 4-star, luxury accommodations. Surrounded by endless beauty throughout every season, here you can experience the rustic ambiance of a log cabin combined with today’s modern amenities. Discover the spectacular views of where the Highlands meet the sea; stunning sunsets over the water and access to a private beach.  Inside our spacious pine log chalets, you will find 2 bedrooms furnished with king- & queen-size beds; 4-piece bathroom (some with whirlpool tubs); full kitchens; fireplaces; flat-screen TVs; DVD players with free movies; Wi-Fi; and telephones. There is eco-friendly hardwood and tile flooring throughout every chalet. Outside, each chalet has a gas barbecue on a private deck that offers incredible views of unspoiled landscapes of the Cabot Trail. For larger families, our deluxe three-bedroom chalet boasts all of the same amenities as well as two full bathrooms (one with a whirlpool bath).  In addition to our chalets, we offer 5 ground-level suites, each with queen-size bed and a kitchenette, that offer a choice of overlooking the mountains or the water.  Pilot Whale Chalets is located on the main street, close to all amenities including restaurants; museums; gift shops and more. Cheticamp sits in the shadow of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and offers something for everyone. Enjoy outdoor adventures like whale watching, swimming, hiking or golf. Experience the living culture of this Acadian seaside community through the music, art, entertainment and traditional cuisine. You won’t be disappointed, you’ll wish you could stay longer!
