Come visit us in the country at our century-old, newly-renovated Home On The Hill on scenic, world-famous Cape Breton Island. Enjoy the antique/vintage furniture and décor, and the warm, bright spaces. You get the best panoramic views out over the biggest part of the Bras d’Or Lake, and ohhh, the sunsets! 
Enjoy antique hardwood floors on the main level, wide-plank pine floors on the upper level, 2 full bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen to cook and enjoy family meals in. It’s a vintage farmhouse with all the modern amenities.
The many pieces of antique/vintage furniture and decorations retain the old-school charm of this home and the many windows keep it bright. It is an enjoyable place to relax and to make your home base as you explore the Island from.
Home on the Hill accommodation is a full house with 4 bedrooms – 3 with queen size beds, 1 room with 1 single and 1 double bed. The vacation home also has two full private bathrooms.

Amenities also include:

  • High-speed wi-fi is in the home as well as books, games and DVDs.
  • Lots of space outside to enjoy, including a partially-covered deck overlooking the lake, a smaller screened porch, and the firepit.
