Guided Mountain Bike Rides – Clyburn Trail
Ingonish & Area
from $12
About
August to November Clyburn Trail Ride – Thursdays Every Thursday morning at 10:00 starting on Thursday September 3rd Meet up is at the Clyburn trailhead parking just off the Cabot Trail in Ingonish Centre. This trail follows the National Park access road along the peaceful Clyburn River. It is for beginner to intermediate mountain bike cyclists. It does have challenging terrain in sections due to river washouts over the years. Ride time is around 2 hours depending on whether riders decide to return after reaching the Salmon Pools or proceed to the trail end at the Gold Mines. Beyond the Salmon Pools the trail requires advanced riding skills. For non Velo members there will be a one time $12 membership fee payable by QR code at the trailhead or preferably in advance via the Velo website (https://www.velocapebreton.ca/). The rides are free for Velo members. All rides will be guided by Evan Ferguson. For more information, please contact Evan by email [email protected] or call 902 682 7896
