About
Home to the Big Glace Bay Lake National Wildlife Area. The beach is the perfect spot for an early morning stroll on the sandy shores where you can breathe in the salty air and watch the migratory birds run along the surf. If you’re a birder, be sure to bring your binoculars or spotting scope. Dozens of different birds use this area along their migration and the beach is home to the endangered Piping Plover.
