Avoca Birches Campground is located in North Shore, Cape Breton, on the world-famous Cabot Trail. We offer a quiet, relaxing camping experience with private, spacious park like forested sites (some on the river) as well as a park model trailer rental unit. A short trail leads to 750 feet of private ocean front beach. 
Located just 30 minutes from Exit 11 / Hwy 105 entrance to the Cabot Trail and 60 minutes from the ferry to Newfoundland. Make us your base for exploring all Cape Breton has to offer. Just minutes away from Cape Breton Highlands National Park, with world class golf, spectacular beaches and breathtaking hikes for all levels. Perfect for day trips to the many other hikes, golf courses, museums, historic sites, boat tours, seafood dinners and shopping. 
Our campground features 26 overnight sites, both unserviced and services RV sites as well as unserviced tent sites. Amenities include: modern washrooms, free showers, a wifi station, fire pits at each site, oversize picnic tables, firewood sales and a beach side deck with seating.
