The Northern Yacht Club was established in 1924 and incorporated in 1925. The club has a rich sailing and event hosting history. The new, two-story clubhouse has a viewing deck on the second level and and can accommodate a variety of events and functions. It can be rented for functions of any kind. The ground level is where the dance floor, bar, gaming room, kitchen, and washrooms are located. This level is wheelchair accessible, and has an approximately capacity for 99 people.
