This will be a wonderful way to bring the 2024 ski season to an end. Come taste delicious brews from local microbreweries including Burnside Brewing, Breton Brewing and Island Folk. Then warm yourself by one of the large bonfires in the snow, while Good Dear Good, who are recent winners of the Music Nova Scotia Award for Pop Recording of the Year, serenade you! They will keeps your toes tapping with their fabulous brand of indie pop-rock. Toast marshmallows and sip hot chocolate (or microbrews for the adults) after a great day of spring skiing. The show will be capped off with a fireworks display from the top of the mountain. It promises to be a fun and truly unique experience! Good Dear Good, are recent winners of the Music Nova Scotia Award for Pop Recording of the Year! Lead singer/songwriter Tim Hatcher of nearby Neil’s Harbour, fronts one of the finest up-and-coming bands in the Maritimes. Their songs are of a vibrant, melancholy persuasion, with tight, melodic harmonies and rhythms. They are truly an act that you will not want to miss. Set against the backdrop of the Cape Breton Highlands, Cape Smokey provides a natural amphitheatre with phenomenal sound – you won’t want to miss this very special event. This will be the third season for Smokey Sessions and it is exciting to see how it continues to evolve and grow. The 2024 season will be the most ambitious to date, so watch for several more exciting announcements in the coming weeks. *Anyone under the age of 19 with a season pass or a day pass may attend the concert.
