The Saturday Afternoon Fiddle Matinée is a tradition that began at the Doryman in 1977. The tradition continues this week with Westmount fiddler, piano player, and dancer Howie MacDonald; popular Chéticamp fiddler Donny LeBlanc, who hosted Saturday afternoon concerts at the Doryman from 1977-1997; and one of the most sought-after piano players of this generation, Chéticamp’s Hilda Chiasson. This well-respected trio of Cape Breton players will have you on your feet with their lively tunes.
