The party doesn’t stop just ‘cause it’s Sunday! Come on out to the Capri the Gobblefest XXX finale with Dog Day, Yellow, Conductor, Bill Ricky, Good Dear Good, and Backhouse Brass. Introduced during the Thanksgiving season of 1994, Gobblefest was a one-off day of music featuring local bands from the Sydney area, conceived to raise funds for the campus and community radio station, Caper Radio CJBU (previously known as CAPR). In 1999, Gobblefest expanded from a one-day event to a three-day festival, showcasing a wide variety of alternative music across a variety of venues. Now the longest running alt music festival in Nova Scotia, Gobblefest continues as an integral component of the local music scene.
