Better than turkey dinner! Come hang out at St. Pat’s with Hobo Aquarium, 10 Slip, Origami Workshop, and Customer Service on the last day of Gobblefest XXX. Introduced during the Thanksgiving season of 1994, Gobblefest was a one-off day of music featuring local bands from the Sydney area, conceived to raise funds for the campus and community radio station, Caper Radio CJBU (previously known as CAPR). In 1999, Gobblefest expanded from a one-day event to a three-day festival, showcasing a wide variety of alternative music across a variety of venues. Now the longest running alt music festival in Nova Scotia, Gobblefest continues as an integral component of the local music scene.
