Ed Woodsworth’s music career began with award-winning, chart-topping Cape Breton group Realworld. The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist would go on to study Jazz at St. F.X. University, tour the world with top East Coast performers Ashley MacIsaac’s Kitchen Devils, Gordie Sampson, and Jimmy Rankin, lead his own jazz trio, and give private music lessons. Ed has worked as a band leader for television and stage productions and been recognized for his work as a producer. In 2016, Ed was the recipient of the Musician’s Achievement award from the East Coast Music Association. As a solo performer, Ed plays guitar and covers of many of the artists he toured and played bass with over the years.
