Waterfall Season returns to Cape Breton Island!
There are so many hiking trails with phenomenal views in Cape Breton that it’s difficult to narrow it down to 5.
If you’re looking to start your trip around the Cabot Trail with a little adventure, then this one day itinerary is for you!
Have you been looking for a way to get out and enjoy this winter season? Well, how about a day snowshoeing in the mountains or along the coastline and then warming up next to a wood stove inside a cozy cabin with a hot cup of coffee?
When we think of waterfalls, the image that comes to our mind is tropical pools, cascading water, peace and calmness. But come winter, these waterfalls turn into a completely different scene. We have rounded up our favourite winter waterfalls.
St. Patrick's Day is fast approaching and what good is celebrating this festive day without listening and dancing to Celtic music. Luckily Cape Breton Island is home to some of the best Celtic music out there. Let the fiddle get you out on the dance
When you walk out onto the ice in South Harbour, flanked by the Cape Breton Highlands and one of the nicest beaches in Atlantic Canada and the Atlantic Ocean, catching a fish is simply a bonus.
It is well-established that dance tradition is an important, if not defining, influence on Cape Breton's traditional music.
Not interested in camping? Why not try glamping? Stay in a Mongolian Yurt or a luxury geometric dome, sleep out in the stars or watch the ocean from your cliffside accommodation.
The Island Wide Waterfall Weekend is a weekend to get up and get outside. Cape Breton Island will be bustling this weekend as visitors and residents are encouraged to join us as we travel to 12 different waterfalls across the Island!
